Student Access Loan SAL
The Student Access Loan (SAL) Application for FY 2020 is scheduled to open on Thursday, June 13, 2019.
The application will be open while funds are available.
Please keep in mind, SAL applicants must have a 2019-2020 FASFA on record with GSFC in order to access the SAL application.
Selections will be done nightly and a list of your selected students will appear in SURFER in the SAL section.
The application, selection, certification, and loan approval process has not changed for last year.
Be advised: The FY 2020 SAL period will end June 12, 2020. That will be the last day for any SALs to be approved.

On Friday, February 23rd, Rural Sourcing is joining forces with the United Way to code for a cause.
The United Way of the CSRA unites people and mobilizes community resources to create lasting changes that transform lives.
We need your help-- join us for an afternoon of volunteer coding that will greatly impact children in the CSRA!
What is a hack·a·thon you ask?
/ˈHAKəˌthän / noun: a Hackathon (also known as a hack-day, hackfest or codefest) is an event in which computer programmers and others in the field of software development,
like graphic designers, interface designers and project managers collaborate intensively on a software related project for a set amount of time
As always, there will be food, swag, and PRIZES! As a 2018 RSI hacker, you and your team will be given all the info needed to complete the coding project.
When the last bit of code is compiled and presented, winning teams will be selected.
To get started, grab your laptop and register. You can register as an individual or as part of a team (4 max! per team).
If you don’t have a team, no worries! We’ll pair you with other coders. If you are not able to participate,
we still welcome you to stop by, grab a bite and connect with our team and other coders from our community.

Unknown Error
If you get the Unknown Error with MS Visual Studio 2017 do thi:
I have a same problem after update VS 2017 Enterprise to the build 26228.9.
Repair installation doesn't fix anything. Still I got "Unknown error" message immediately after start VS2017.
Fixing is possible by removing this folder:
"C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\15.0_xxxxxxx"

Due to inclement weather, Augusta Technical College is closing all campuses, February 11th at 5pm and cancelling all evening classes. The College will be closed all day on Wednesday, February 12th . Augusta Technical College administration will make a decision for Thursday as the weather advisories are reported, so check the local media for updates.

To ensure the safety of our faculty, staff and students, and due to the winter weather advisory, Augusta Technical College will be closed on Tuesday, January 28 and Wednesday, January 29. There will be no day or evening classes for those two days. The college plans to resume normal business hours on Thursday, January 30. ***Evening classes will be held tonight, Monday, January 27th.
